First five days- options.

>
> In looking at the carefully planned first few days, here are a couple of options to possibly save us brain drain in the rain with legs in pain somewhere north of Spokane.
>
> Day 1- The inevitable much anticipated start- A Pacific dip- (not just the tire!) - then
> White Rock to Hope "Skagit" BC.
> 140 clicks.
>
> Day 2- ... It's going to hurt. The actual route is Hope- Princeton. In zooming in to a sea of peaks, a blip of civilization turns out to be humanoids in Manning Provincial Park. They rent cabins and have year-round mountain fun after a 1.5 km vertical climb.
> Hope- Princeton 1
> OR
> Hope - Manning Prov Park - 70 km (feels like 200)
>
> Day 3- ... So how was Manning Park? :)
> Today can be a long day of gravity glee. Wakey, coffee, a short sharp shock of a climb towards
> Princeton then weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee to Osoyoos.
> Notch up 180 km on the odometer.
>
> Day 4- While in BC... Live like a bear. Lap up the provincial parks.
> Osoyoos to Christina Lake provincial park is a good long ride. Accomodation by pristine water- how can you go wrong?
> 154 km, topography is not insane lots of gently sloping downhill. At least that is what it looks like on my screen...
>
> Day 5- UP!
> Through Nancy Greene prov park, (about 30km if your legs are mush, as they should be) to Castlegar (a teeny bit more, but who is counting) AND BEYOND!!!!! (if you are with hopped up blood in your veins)
> See you in the hills....
