This is the story of how boring people can sometimes do exciting things. In this case father and son are going to bike across Canada in what will be either a great bonding experience or a lengthy estrangement.
We are lucky enough to have Madge to support us on this ride and to be joined by Andrew, Souhaila, Marlie, Tom and Helen (And Olin of course).

Rain, rain in Guelph today...kind of like the weather in Hope, B.C. next week...might as well get the wetness over with early! Makes for a nice squishy feeling in the shoes.
I wore plastic bags inside my shoes here in Halifax both yesterday and on Saturday when I was riding. Keeps the feet dry but my shoes are still soggy days later! And, of course, I don't go as far as you fast riders.
