Rainy day in Halifax; hard to believe that one week from today Ward and Gordon will be on the road!  Ward and I will begin our journey by flying to Winnipeg on Thursday, the 19th.  Gordon joins our flight in Toronto.  We plan to pick up a van at the airport in Winnipeg, drop by MEC to pick up a new bike rack, and then drive westward to Brandon.  Helen will have flown in that morning to Brandon from Vancouver.  She says she will be waving us into the Super 8 from the roadside!  I sure hope she has more than water to feed us on arrival.  The 20th will be spent putting the bikes together and buying groceries, and then we will start this adventure once more.
We learned today that Andrew has booked his flight to join us on July 15th.  Hooray, hooray!  He will ride the last week and be able to dip his tires in the Atlantic Ocean at Point Pleasant Park in Halifax.
Marlie and Tom have booked their flight to Ontario and will join the ride somewhere between July 7th and 11th.  So happy about this.  We do need help with nutrition (Marlie) and wine (Tom).
Now we only need Olin and Souhaila to free up their schedules for us.
