This is the story of how boring people can sometimes do exciting things. In this case father and son are going to bike across Canada in what will be either a great bonding experience or a lengthy estrangement. We are lucky enough to have Madge to support us on this ride and to be joined by Andrew, Souhaila, Marlie, Tom and Helen (And Olin of course). May we be strong of body and mind and may the wind be forever at our backs!

Sudbury
Let's get the ride out of the way. The road from Blind River to Sudbury is horrible. It was ugly. The worst road since White Rock BC. Two lanes with heavy traffic, lots of trucks and a small shoulder and sometimes none. Also there are lots of pot holes, it is not flat. To make it worse the wind was strong and directly out of the east. Whine! Whine! We did have a great picnic by the Spanish River. However we arrived safely at 4:00. Now on to the good stuff. Last night Betsy and Richard joined us for dinner. It was lots of fun catching up. Mila (and the rest) met us at Southview and Hwy 17. She is adorable. As I write this Mila is in Helen's arms and is very calm. The bar is open and dinner is not far off. Off to the massage place tomorrow and two days off. Yahoo.
