Shediac

We had a terrific evening with Lynn, Lorne, Cory, Ian and the kids.  The next morning Lorne drove the four of us to Quispamsis as we had already done this part.  We still had a 165 KM ride.  Weather was great: warm and sunny with a light breeze.  The ride through Hampton, and the other little villages along the Kennebecasis was really nice.  The roads are a little quirky so we had to pause sometimes to check where we were.  We had our picnic near Salisbury.  Picnic was good but it was hot with no shade.  Souhaila had a flat in the morning which was quickly repaired.  However at 117 KM Sou's front tire blew out completely.  No way to repair it so we had to call Madge to come and pick her up.  Too bad because she was really strong.  The three of us continued through Moncton and then the Old Shediac road to Parlee beach.  We made good time but could have done better if there were not so many potholes.  Shediac is your typical beach community.  We went down for a swim on the beach and now it is cocktail hour.  Tomorrow will be a long run to Truro and then home.
